Returns & Exchanges
We only accept returns and exchanges in the event that:
✔ You received the wrong product in your order.
✔ Your item arrived damaged during transit (see details below).
How to Request a Return/Exchange:
- Contact us within 14 days at contact@thewildcauldron.au.
- Include:
- Your Order ID
- A description (or photo) of the incorrect item.
- Details of any missing product(s).
- Once your request is approved, send the incorrect item to: The Wild Cauldron - PO BOX 601, Benalla VIC 3672
Important: Customers are responsible for using a self-addressed prepaid bag and ensuring the product is securely packaged with bubble wrap to prevent damage during the return shipment.
Once we receive your return, we will ship the correct product on the next business day.
Damages During Shipping
We take great care in securely packaging orders before dispatching via Australia Post.
However, once your parcel is with AusPost, it is beyond our control.
- Every order includes tracking and insurance (up to the order value).
- If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us immediately.
- We will assess the issue and work with you to find a resolution.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout.
If a parcel is sent to the wrong address and:
- Can be returned to us → You will need to cover the cost of repacking & reshipping.
- Is lost or stolen → We will coordinate with Australia Post to find a resolution.
Need your order urgently? If your package is delayed due to an incorrect address, we recommend placing a new order while we resolve the shipping issue with AusPost.
Final Sale Policy
Due to the handcrafted and custom nature of our products, all transactions are considered final.
- We do not accept exchanges for incorrectly selected items.
We take great pride in our small-batch, high-quality magical offerings, blending fresh essential oils, base oils, and dried botanicals to create potent and unique products.
Quality Assurance: Every item we dispatch is fresh, properly formulated, and free from expiration concerns. Many of our customers have used The Wild Cauldron’s magical oils for over five years without any degradation.
Discounted Products: Items nearing their best-use period may occasionally be offered at a discounted price, ensuring our commitment to both quality and value.
Order Cancellations
We understand that circumstances can change, and we allow order cancellations under certain conditions:
- If your order has NOT been packed yet, you may cancel it without any fees.
- If your order has been packed but NOT yet shipped, you may still cancel it; however, a 25% restocking fee (excluding shipping costs) will apply.
The remaining balance, including shipping costs, will be refunded within 48 hours.
Example: If your order total (excluding shipping) is $100, a $25 restocking fee will be deducted, and you will receive a refund of $75 plus the full shipping cost.
You cannot cancel your order if:
- If your order has already been shipped, we are unable to cancel it, and refunds for change of mind are not available.
- Custom orders are final—we do not accept cancellations, refunds, or changes of mind for any personalised or made-to-order items.

Heat-Sensitive Products (Soy Candles & Wax-Based Items)
Please note: We do not offer refunds or replacements for melted candles or wax products.
- Soy wax is a soft wax that begins melting at 46°C, a temperature easily reached in trucks, vans, and sorting facilities during warmer months.
- Our shipping boxes are not insulated, though we use bubble wrap for added protection.
To avoid melting issues, we recommend:
- Ordering in cooler months when possible.
- Choosing express shipping (if available) to reduce transit time.
